Darkness

TV Pilot about Addiction and Recovery. Reality show: hear the stories of real addicts at different stages of recovery and their effort to stay sober. I had an opportunity to work with a drug counselor to produce this show which at the time (2012) and still now are going through an epidemic of deaths from overdose. These are real addicts telling their real stories. It Premiered at the Hoboken International Film Festival in Middletown NY. This is one full episode.

Hudson Valley International Film Festival

This was a commercial for the Hudson Valley International Film Festival that we started in Monroe NY. It was very successful for 2 years.  Unfortunately for Monroe and the Arts, 2016 was the last HVIFF festival in this highly dysfunctional town. Thanks to the political organization called United Monroe and their political agendas we were literally driven out of town. Their threats and the towns businesses that were threatened to not support the festival made it impossible to continue here.

The HVIFF ended because our newly elected town board didn't think our town was worthy of an Arts and Civic Center.

This was one of the best venues for a film festival that I had been to and was highly successful for two years. The dysfunctional politics in this town of Monroe made it impossible to continue the festival here.

The take over and destruction of a town.

Non-elected members of an organization "United Monroe" were being personally sued by the Hassidic town of KJ. To get out of it they negotiated giving them our first religious town of Palm Tree and falsely led the community to vote on it. After the damage, some of the leaders left town while others took over the town board and are running it into the ground. This is the subject of my next documentary!

East X Northeast International Film Festival

Just before Covid I joined my friend, Robert Fontaine whose Film "MI AMERICA" available on Amazon, in launching his film festival in the town of Newburg NY. After Covid it went virtual and has returned this year with live venues. I whole heartedly support this festival and urge all you film makers to participate in this great event. It's there for you! A new film festival has also emerged in Sugarloaf NY this year. Please support them.
